Jerad Seurer is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Mentari Therapeutics. He brings more than 25 years of experience spanning intellectual property, litigation, regulatory strategy, and corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Mentari, Jerad served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Avadel Pharmaceuticals, where he was a Section 16 officer and member of the executive leadership team. He developed a legal and regulatory strategy that brought Lumryz® to market, securing 32 U.S. patents listed in the FDA’s Orange Book and two Orphan Drug Exclusivities. He also helped lead the sale of Avadel to Alkermes for approximately $2.4 billion. Earlier in his career, Jerad spent 13 years at Mallinckrodt, rising from patent attorney to Vice President and Group General Counsel, and began his career as an intellectual property attorney in private practice. Jerad holds a JD, MA, and BS from the University of South Dakota.
